Renowned
hairdresser Errol Douglas has just returned from a week-long trip to North
Carolina, where he was guest of honour at the Carmen Carmen hairdressing
group¹s annual conference.
Says
Errol, ³I was asked to appear by Carmen Cutrona, owner of the 18-strong Carmen
Carmen salon and spa group, and I was really keen to do it as the proceeds go
to a really worthwhile charity - the Pregnant With Cancer Network which
supports women diagnosed with cancer while pregnant.²
Errol,
spokesperson and Head of the Artistic Team for Matrix/Biolage the number
one-selling professional brand in the US, put on one of his trademark
breathtaking shows, presenting 12 models in a choreographed performance with
stunning hair and make-up. After prepping on January 19, the show took the form
of a look-and-learn event across January 20 and 21. Says Errol: ³The looks came
from our bio graphic collection which comprises moulded and crafted geometric
shapes. It¹s an exciting collection to present and the dramatic impact of the
shapes and textures makes it really satisfying to produce.²
