Apprenticeship Awards 2009

The Apprenticeship Awards 2009, sponsored by global qualification awarding body City & Guilds, took place on Thursday 16th July and featured some our very own hairdressers as finalists.

City & Guilds supports and promotes excellence in skills wherever possible and not only sponsors the Apprenticeship Awards, but also Team UK at Calgary in 2009, WorldSkills 2011, London.

City & Guilds is a global organisation, offering qualifications in 81 countries. As we’re the UK’s leading organisation for awarding vocational qualifications, City & Guilds-qualified WorldSkills competitors are concentrated in the UK, but they could come from any of the competing countries in which we offer relevant qualifications.
